Celebrate Harry Potter’s Birthday at Spark! Imagination and Science Center. On Saturday, July 27 from 10 am to 1 pm, join us for hands-on activities and crafts that explore the magical world of the Harry Potter books.
Muggles and wizards alike will enjoy exploring science and craft activities inspired by magic. Admission is $5 per person, members of Spark! Imagination and Science Center receive free admission.
“We are all big Harry Potter fans here and are thrilled to be working on this event. Not only do the Harry Potter books inspire children and adults to use their imaginations, but they also encourage kids to read, two things we get very excited about at Spark. We decided that Harry’s birthday would be a fitting time to celebrate that,” says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark! Imagination and Science Center.
Visitors can also explore Spark’s, hands-on exhibits during the event, including our new Sun, Earth, Universe exhibit and expanded Engineer It exhibit. Dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, and much more.
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization. Spark is located inside the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road and is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. For more information, call 304-292-4646 or visit the museum’s website at sparkwv.org.
