Brandhi Irvon At Arts Mon August Arts Walk

Irvon is a self-taught mixed medium artist who finds inspirations through visions, dreams and life moments. He considers his imagery “visual poetry”. Born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Brandhi started using creativity to escape the childhood pain of an abusive household environment. It became his therapy.
As well as being a mixed medium artist, Brandhi is also a singer, songwriter, and poet. He plays piano, acoustic guitar, trumpet and percussion/drums. So very often, as in the case with pieces like Moby and Chardonnay, some expressions manifest themselves in both song and visual pieces.
Brandhi is the music and art director at Jacob’s Ladder at Brookside, an alcohol and drug recovery center in Aurora, WV.
Irvon’s work will be on exhibit from August 1 through August 30.  There will be a closing reception on that date, during ArtsWalk, from 6 to 9 p.m.  The event and exhibition are free and open to the public.
Regular gallery hours are Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
