Loft Office and Loft Conference Center
Southpointe-Canonsburg, PA—January 23, 2019 – Horizon Properties Group announced today the Grand Opening of Loft Office Coworking and Loft Conference Center at Granville Square which is scheduled for February 6, 2019 from 5 - 6:30 PM. The Granville Square location is at the southeast quadrant of the new I-79 Exit 153 (University Town Centre) and is part of a new mixed use development that includes a 115 room Hampton Inn and Suites, a 40,000 s.f. multi-tenant office building anchored by the Bowles Rice law firm and a retail center that includes Blaze Pizza, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Verizon Wireless, Tri-State Furniture Express, Great Clips, Cricket Wireless and Iron Horse Tavern. This marks the fifth location for Loft Office Coworking and the initial launch of Loft Conference Center which are both located in the office building at 125 Granville Square.
Horizon first launched Loft Office Coworking in 2017 in response to demand for suburban coworking space that offered 24/7/365 access at an affordable cost. The Loft Office concept, unlike some of the big box coworking centers, is smaller, manageable and is able to fit into infill retail locations near bedroom communities. Mike Swisher, Principal of Horizon Properties, stated, “We offer an all-inclusive coworking experience that is based on great design and technology. Our guests can use their smart device or phone to gain access, schedule a meeting room, pay their bill and to communicate with the virtual attendant or IT technician.” Each Loft Office includes secure high speed internet, Wi-Fi, furnished offices and multi-office suites, meeting rooms, work-desks, soft seating areas with TV’s, copy/print station, café and the touch screen virtual attendant. Swisher added, “We invested in technology that would allow Loft Office to function without a full time on-site attendant which is how we can manage cost for our guests.” Offices are priced as little as $520/month and unassigned work-desk access is only $95/month.
The Granville location is also the initial launch for two associated brands called Loft Conference Center and Loft Project. Gina Johnston, who heads up Horizon Hospitality, noted that, “Our strategic location at I-79 Exit 153 and proximity to Morgantown and WVU, has provided an opportunity to serve the demand for meeting space that is fresh and new and includes technology that is required for today’s meeting and social functions. We are excited to provide this offering in Morgantown next to our Hampton Inn and Suites and are very pleased with the final product which has a great look, is functional, flexible and tech forward.” Loft Conference Center can accommodate multiple meetings from 2 to 108 guests and multiple configurations including classroom, training or banquet styles. Amenities include a pre-function room, catering kitchen, soft seating areas, smart flat panel TV’s, AV content streaming, sound system, lighting controls and other AV capabilities.
Loft Project, which is in the final planning stages, will be located in the same building, and will provide coworking collaborative “Project” space for designers, engineers and technicians. The Loft Project space will include high ceilings, work tables, equipment connections, ventilation and storage cages as well as other equipment.
