Description
This event will be an introduction to the NSF I-Corps program. It is FREE and OPEN to the Public. The National Science Foundation Innovation Corps (NSF I-Corps) is designed to prepare faculty, researchers, and students to extend their focus beyond the university laboratory and move valuable ideas toward commercialization. In addition, NSF I-Corps can help anyone with an innovative idea and an entrepreneurial spirit—in Morgantown and throughout the state— to identify valuable product opportunities and gain skills in entrepreneurship through training in customer discovery and guidance from established entrepreneurs. Essentially, NSF I-Corps is an “entrepreneur bootcamp” for anyone to discover what it’s like to take a product to market and determine whether their idea for a new product or technology can be successful.
