Description
The WVU Master of Health Administration program is partnering with WVU Medicine to host a virtual webinar, “Fearless Leadership in Pandemic Times." Presented by Erik Carlton, DrPH, associate dean for professional programs and MHA program director in the WVU School of Public Health, the session will focus on three key components that have a significant effect on personal and organizational performance: fear, power and control. “While fear, power and control have always operated, often silently, within organizations, the stresses and strains of this pandemic have brought them to the forefront,” Carlton said. “The unconscious damage to individuals and organizations that these cause can be recognized and overcome. Through a critical internal inquiry we can create a more ‘fear-less’ healthcare enterprise.” The event is free and open to the public.
